Maggie and Dennis Burgin extend a warm welcome to The Tollhouse…
The Tollhouse was originally built in 1795 to collect tolls from travellers journeying south across the Strathmore Estate. It has been extended over the years and now provides comfortable, modern, accommodation.
We are located mid-way between Glamis and Kirriemuir in the heart of historical Scotland. We are convenient for the A90 and are an ideal base for exploring the Glens and the Cairngorm national park and enjoying the many and varied local activities and attractions. We are less than an hour’s drive to Perth, Dundee and the East Coast.
The Accommodation
We have two very comfortable rooms; a double and a twin, both with ensuite facilities, freeview TV, tea and coffee.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the conservatory with views across the countryside to the Cairngorms.
Guests can enjoy the conservatory and the garden in the evenings.
